Service Category: You can divide various service of your salon under category for better management.
You can use this feature to add or update service category
How to add a new service category - Open Add/Edit Service Category from master menu
- Select a Part where you want to add new category
- Salon Soft has 5 Parts in New Service Slip Form i.e. Bleaching, Nail,Hair,Facial, Other.
- Select a part.
- Enter Service Category Name
- Enter Service Category Code < Short Name of service should be unique>
- Click Save button to save service Category.
- When you add a new service category you will see this category button has been created in New Service Slip
- Click cancel or Press Esc to Close the form.
To Edit a Service Category - Open Add/Edit Service Category from master menu
- Click Edit
- You will see service categories list in left side
- Select any service to edit by clicking
- Service Details will be appear in form
- You can change service category part.
- You can update service category name
- You can't update service category code
- Click on save to update service category
- You can edit other service category repeating above steps
- Click cancel or Press Esc to Close the form.
Service Names: You can add new services under service category using this feature.
You can use this feature to add or update service names defined under service category.
How to add a new service name - Open Add/Edit Service Name from master menu
- Select a Main Category of Services from Main Category List
- Enter Service rate in numeric
- Enter Service name code < Short Name for service name, must be unique>
- Now you have to distribute service rate in Max 3 Stylist/Assistants
- For Example a Service Full Body Message cost Rs. 500/- , and this services is performed with help One Stylist and 2 Assistants
- Stylist Part in 500/- is 250/-
- And Assistant-1 Part in 500/- is 150/-
- Assistant -2 Part in 500/0 is 100/-
- In case there is service which do not require additional Assistant and can be performed by single stylist you must enter complete service amount i.e. 500/- in Stylist box.
- Service Amount Should Be Equal to Total of Stylist, Assistant-1 and Assistant -2 Rate.
- Enter Stylist Rate
- Enter Assistant-1 rate
- Enter Assistant-2 Rate
- If service you are adding is not taxable uncheck the Tax Applicable Option else all services are default taxable
- If you want to de active this service Uncheck Active else all new service by default active.
- Click Save button to save Service Name.
- When you add a new service name you will see this service name button has been created in New Service Slip, click the Service Category Button you will see new service name .
- Click cancel or Press Esc to Close the form.
To Edit a Service Category - Open Add/Edit Service Name from master menu
- Click Edit
- You will see Service Name list in left side
- Select any Service Name to edit by clicking
- Or you can list services for a particular service category by selecting service category name from Service Category List, By Default it list all services.
- Service Name Details will be appear in form
- You can change service category and Other Details with Stylist Rates etc.
- Click on save to update Service Name Detail.
- You can edit other Service repeating above steps
- Click cancel or Press Esc to Close the form.
- You can also press Ctrl+Z on Service Category to Create a New Service Category
